The Braga Business Association (AEB) is promoting the 2nd "Braga Business Fam Trips" tomorrow, March 6, in collaboration with the Catholic University of Braga.
With the motto "Industry and Tourism", the initiative will take place between 2pm and 5pm, allowing participants to visit the companies Serafim da Silva Jerónimo (Bell Factory); Letra (Craft Beer Factory) and Nortempresa (Perfume Factory).
In a statement, the AEB highlights the "crucial role" these companies play in preserving the city's cultural identity and economic development.
"This initiative, in addition to enriching knowledge about the city's history and industrial tradition, also aims to strengthen the local business fabric by exchanging experiences and actively promoting networks through partnerships," explains the AEB's director-general.
For Rui Marques, "it's essential" to bring together and incorporate business units in the tourism sector, not only to increase the value of the offer made to tourists, but also to boost the region's development.
"Tourism is a business area and it is therefore crucial to maximize its economic value when we receive visitors. We can guide tourists along routes that include the city's tourist attractions, as well as the city's commercial and industrial establishments. The aim is to increase the capacity to retain value through tourism," he concludes.
