Information for the 2026/2027 school year



The Catholic University of Portugal, under Decree-Law no. 64/2006, of March 21, and by order NR/R/0108/2006, admits access to its degree courses to those over 23 years of age who, without being holders of qualifications for access to higher education, have turned 23 years old by December 31 of the year preceding the ability tests for their attendance and obtain approval in them.

The application can be made here, within the stipulated deadlines.

 

Documents required for application
  • Application Form;
  • Declaration under oath that you do not hold a higher education qualification;
  • Secondary School Certificate and Diploma or the last degree obtained
  • Curriculum vitae;
  • Photocopy of the Identification Document;
  • Photocopy of Taxpayer Number;
  • 1 Photograph.
  • Certificate of Equivalence to the 12th year of Portuguese (Students with Foreign Secondary Qualifications).
Application Period 28 April to 24 August
Posting of the List of Qualified Candidates 28 August
Written Test 7th September
Interview 8th September
Results posting 10th September
Registration 10th, 11th and 14th September
Classes start (expected) 14th September


Valuation Components
 

The assessment of candidates' ability to attend FFCS degree programs is done through the following components:

  • Evaluation of the educational and professional curriculum;
  • Explanation of the candidate's motivations for entering higher education and interview;
  • Written test to evaluate the knowledge and skills considered essential for entry and progression in the course for which they are applying.

The operation of the Portuguese Catholic University's Cycles of Studies is subject to a minimum number of students. If this minimum number is not met, the course will not be able to run and the course fees will be refunded.
