Degree in Applied Management

Program Description

Over three years, students integrate knowledge from management, economics, accounting, finance, operations, marketing, information systems, statistics and human resources to address real business problems.

During the first two years, the programme provides a solid foundation across core management fields, combining conceptual understanding with practical skills through applied tools and active learning methodologies. Emphasis is placed on adaptability, collaboration and problem-solving.

In the third year, students choose one of two specialisation branches:

Business Analytics – data analysis, artificial intelligence, data visualisation and decision support 
systems.
Tourism – sustainable destination management, tourism innovation, experience marketing, event management and strategic management of tourism organisations.

The programme includes optional modules, applied labs and interdisciplinary projects, culminating in a curricular internship in a real organisational setting.

General Objectives

  • Enable informed strategic and operational decision-making in diverse organisational contexts;
  • Develop technical and digital competences for data analysis in management;
  • Foster interdisciplinarity, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and leadership;
  • Provide tools to design and manage impactful projects;
  • Prepare graduates for contemporary organisational challenges in areas such as strategy, data, Marketing, finance, communication, ethics and sustainability;
