Incentive Scholarships - Philosophy and Portuguese Studies

The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, in fulfilment of its educational and cultural mission, has created a programme of Study Incentive Scholarships aimed at promoting the Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and the Bachelor's Degree in Portuguese Studies.

This programme, developed with the support of the Society of Jesus, aims to recognise the strategic importance of these areas for the integral development of society by offering students a 75% reduction in the annual tuition fee, subject to compliance with defined academic and administrative criteria.

The scholarships are awarded annually and their access and renewal is subject to specific requirements related to the entry regime, academic achievement and regularised treasury situation.

For more information on eligibility conditions, continuity criteria and exceptions, we recommend that you carefully read the Regulation on Incentive Scholarships for the Study of Philosophy and Portuguese Studies.

The regulations come into force in the 2025/2026 academic year.
