Positive Psychology and Logotherapy: a practical approach

Program Description

By promoting the study of the conditions that contribute to the expression of human wholeness, Positive Psychology values the experience of emotions and the practice of character strengths as a way of strengthening individual qualities and strengths.

In turn, based on the assumption that the human being's deepest motivation is the search for a purpose in life, Logotherapy is a psychotherapy aimed at treating meaninglessness, offering an innovative therapeutic proposal for reconstructing the meaning of experiences of suffering and discerning each person's unique and original potential for meaning.

Favoring dialogue about the value of the person, dreams and future planning in stimulating personal and existential development, the teaching methodology of this training is based on Appreciative Inquiry, using illustrations from cinema, music, poetry, mindfulness and, above all, stories and testimonies of people who inspire virtue.
