Applications for the DeepTech Transfer Competition and the ELEVATE Acceleration Program are open until June 30, 2026.
The DeepTech Transfer Competition aims to support innovation projects with the potential for economic value and market impact, in order to promote technology transfer and foster connections between academia, industry, and the innovation ecosystem. The initiative is aimed at projects in the fields of agri-food biotechnology, healthcare, and information technology, with implementation scheduled between September 2026 and June 2027.
As part of this competition, up to 15 teams will be selected, and they will have access to specialized mentoring, market validation tools, and connections with stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. The program also includes support through the DTT Toolbox, which consists of tools designed to increase technology maturity and create value, including technology roadmapping, matchmaking, financial patent valuation, a sustainability plan, and a business plan.
At the same time, the ELEVATE Acceleration Program challenges students, researchers, startups, and early-stage entrepreneurs to turn innovative ideas into impactful projects. The program runs for 12 weeks in an online format and includes training in entrepreneurship, specialized mentoring, collaboration with international teams, access to an international network, and a week-long immersion in Trieste, Italy.
ELEVATE is aimed at innovative projects with a TRL of 4 or higher in the fields of biotechnology applied to the agri-food sector, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and the creative industries. There is no cost to participate in the program, and it offers prizes totaling 20,000 euros, distributed as four cash prizes of 5,000 euros each, as well as the opportunity to visit a leading European accelerator.
Applications for both programs are free and must be submitted by June 30, 2026.
