The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) – Braga will present its new degree in Applied Management next Thursday at the Braga Forum.
The opening session will be led by Bruno Nobre, director of the FFCS at UCP – Braga.
The first panel, entitled “Braga: A vibrant ecosystem for wealth creation”, will feature Altino Bessa, deputy mayor of Braga; Gil Carvalho, director of Economic Development and Investment Attraction at InvestBraga; Daniel Vilaça, President of the Board of AEB – Braga Business Association; and Gonçalo Pimenta de Castro, Vice-President of AEMinho, in a round table format, moderated by Paulo Dias, Vice-Rector of the Catholic University in Braga.
In the second, João Pinto, dean of Católica Porto Business School, and Ana Salazar, member of the coordination team for the new degree in Applied Management, will speak on the topic ‘Management is at Católica – Now also in Braga’.
There will also be a third round table on ‘The quality of management and its impact on the business fabric of Braga,’ with the participation of Nuno Veloso, CEO of the Bernardo da Costa Group; José Teixeira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DST Group; Pedro Barros Rodrigues, CEO of the BMcar Group; Varico Pereira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hotéis do Bom Jesus; and José Queirós de Almeida, CEO of Greenvolt Comunidades, moderated by Alberto Castro, professor at Católica Porto Business School.
The event will close with a networking coffee.
