The Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) – Braga Regional Center is organizing the 1st edition of the UCP Academic Day – Braga Campus. The initiative takes place this Friday, April 21, between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.

The purpose of the event is to "unite the Academic Community on a day of celebration" and also "to award the best students and honor the retired employees of the educational institution", says the University.

The session begins in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences with the academic procession and the intervention of Professor João Duque, Pro-Rector of the Braga Regional Centre, who will introduce the event. To close the morning panel, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services, Prof. Doctor Nuno Fazenda will be present to carry out the wisdom lesson.

The afternoon will be filled with a series of recreational moments, namely a Stand Up Comedy show, a theater play and a musical moment, at the Isidro Alves Auditorium.
The program ends with a musical performance by the Popular Music Group and the Lyric Academic Tunas of the UCP and Estudantina de Braga.
