The Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) – Braga Regional Center is organizing the 1st edition of the UCP Academic Day – Braga Campus, to take place on the 21st of April, between 9.30 am and 6 pm.

The event, which aims to unite the Academic Community on a day of celebration, also intends to reward the best students and honor retired employees of the educational institution.

The session begins in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences with the academic procession and the intervention of Professor João Duque, Pro-Rector of the Braga Regional Centre, who will introduce the event. To close the morning panel, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services, Prof. Doctor Nuno Fazenda will be present to carry out the wisdom lesson.

The afternoon, which will take place at the Isidro Alves Auditorium, will be filled with a series of recreational moments, namely, a Stand Up Comedy show, a theater play and a musical moment.

The closing of this celebration will be presented with the musical performance of the Popular Music Group and the Lyric academic tunas of the UCP and Estudantina de Braga.
