In the coming days September 1 to 4, 2025, the Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH) of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga organizes a new edition of the Braga Summer School in Linguistics.
This Summer School, now in its 5th edition, continues to establish itself as a renowned summer school in the fields of linguistic studies, especially from the perspective of Cognitive and Functional Linguistics, in their most recent developments and in interdisciplinary dialogue with other cognitive sciences.
This year, four researchers in the field will be present, teaching a total of 4 courses of 6 hours each. They are Professor Dirk Geeraerts from KU Leuven, Professor Hans-Jörg Schmid from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Professor Hans-Georg Wolf from the University of Potsdam and Professor Laura Hidalgo-Downing from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
