Católica Braga and AEB promote 3rd Business Fam Trip behind the scenes of the region's wine production
The Portuguese Catholic University - Braga, in collaboration with the Braga Business Association (AEB), is promoting the 3rd 'Braga Business Fam Trips'. The "Wine and Tourism" visit is scheduled for March 20, from 14:00 to 17:00.
During that afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to embark on an exclusive and enriching journey through Solar da Pena and Quinta d'Amares, two companies that unite history, culture and top quality wines.
"This initiative, in addition to enriching knowledge about the region's wine history and tradition, also aims to strengthen the local business fabric. The exchange of experiences and the active promotion of networks through partnerships are fundamental pillars for the development of this business network in our region," explains the AEB's Director General.
For Rui Marques, it is essential to bring together and incorporate business units from the tourism sector, not only to increase the value of the offer presented to tourists, but also to boost the development of the region.
"Tourism is a business area and it is therefore crucial to maximize its economic value when we receive visitors. Looking specifically at wine tourism, it is much more than just a journey of flavors, it is an essential catalyst for the sustainable economic development of our region. By exploiting Braga's wine wealth, we not only enhance our cultural and historical heritage, but also create growth opportunities for local businesses, boosting the economy and strengthening the link between tourism and the business fabric. Through our wine culture we can weave a narrative of prosperity and innovation, attracting visitors and investments that contribute to the continued flourishing of our region," he concludes.
Transportation will be provided for the companies. The meeting point is at the E.Leclerc parking lot at 14:00.
