The learning objectives for the Sociology II course are designed to equip students with an in-depth understanding of contemporary social reality. The aim is for students to develop the ability to analyze, interpret, and critically evaluate social dynamics, identifying trends and implications of the phenomena studied in various academic and practical contexts. It is essential that students be able to contextualize the origins and development of the sociological habitus, recognizing the historical and theoretical factors that influence human behavior and the structures of modern society. In addition, students are expected to establish meaningful connections between contemporary sociological theories and current social issues, fostering enriching discussions that encourage critical thinking and the construction of knowledge.
