The final-year students in Social Work at the Portuguese Catholic University in Braga delivered the goods they had collected in the solidarity campaign “The Joy of Giving”, an initiative promoted by Voluntaria*te - UCP Braga's Volunteering Center and the “Ser Social” Commission - the FFCS Social Work Students' Commission.

The campaign was a great success, gathering a vast amount of donations, including clothes, food and hygiene products, essential for supporting mothers and babies in vulnerable situations. The goods were delivered to the institution Vida Norte, which does vital work in supporting families at risk.

During the delivery, the students from the “Ser Social” Commission were welcomed by the Vida Norte team, who introduced them to the facilities and highlighted the importance of initiatives like this to strengthen social support networks.

This solidarity action reflects the commitment of UCP Braga students to social responsibility and promoting the well-being of the most vulnerable communities.
