Diogo Fernandes Santos holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, a master’s degree in Multimedia with a specialization in Multimedia Education, and a Ph.D. in Digital Media from the joint doctoral program between the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and the New University of Lisbon (UNL). He is a researcher at CIQUP (Center for Research in Chemistry at the University of Porto), as part of Research Team 5: Education, Scientific Communication, and Society, and a researcher at CEFH (Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies) at the Portuguese Catholic University. His areas of interest include the use of digital games as tools for scientific communication and for engaging the public with science; the co-creation of communicative content involving scientists; and practices in scientific communication.
