On July 3, starting at 2:30 p.m., the event "Themes in Social Gerontology: Innovation and Incentives for Research" will be held at the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga.

The opening session will be led by Catarina Vieira da Silva, Coordinator of the Master's in Applied Social Gerontology; Augusto Soares da Silva, Director of the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH); and José Manuel Lopes, Director of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) at UCP - Braga.

This will be followed by a round table discussion on "Innovation and Good Practices in Gerontology: Presentation of Emerging Research Themes", moderated by Augusto Soares da Silva, with the participation of Marco Fernandes, Ankira; Ângela Azevedo, lecturer at UCP - Braga and member of the Diocesan Commission for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults; and Narcisa Dias, CEO of Farmárcia Narcisa C. Dias.

This will be followed by the signing of a protocol and the awarding of certificates for the "Ankira", "Dona Teresa Oliveira" and "Farmácia Narcisa C. Dias" scholarships. Dias".

The Master's in Social Gerontology will close with a green horna and a moment of networking.
