The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga has opened applications for four incentive scholarships, worth €1.000 each. These scholarships are aimed at UCP undergraduates who wish to continue their studies through the Master's Degree in Applied Social Gerontology.
Called the Professor Maria Arminda Oliveira Sá Costa Carvalho Scholarships, their main aim is to promote advanced training in the field of Social Gerontology, at a time when the ageing of the population represents a growing challenge, associated with issues such as poverty, social isolation and loneliness among the elderly.
The aim of these scholarships is to support the training of highly qualified professionals capable of intervening effectively in ageing contexts, in order to promote social inclusion and the well-being of older populations.
Applications must be sent exclusively by e-mail to gerontologiasocialaplicada.braga@ucp.pt by February 12th. The results will be announced by February 17th.
