RESTART4EDU shares project results in seminar

The Seminar “Learning Based on Projects - RESTART4EDU_PT_Celebration”, which took place on the 14th of April, was held with the aim of celebrating the path and results of the project “Restart for Education in a Digital Era Through Project-based E-learning ".

This event had the participation of João Duque, Pro-Rector of the Braga Regional Center of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), and Diana Soares, Coordinator of the Católica Learning Innovation Lab, in the opening session.

Afterwards, the initiative's Portuguese team, made up of teachers from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences Ângela Azevedo, Íris Oliveira and Paulo Dias, shared their experience with the project-based learning method, within the scope of training for higher education teachers .

The session also included lectures by professors Diana Mesquita (UCP-Porto) on the challenges and opportunities for pedagogical innovation in higher education, as well as by Vitor Sá (UCP-Braga), regarding the importance of digital resources to support teachers in the use of this methodology.

The respective event contributed to the dissemination of the results obtained, as well as to encourage the involvement of other professionals in the area to have access to know forms of pedagogical innovation.

RESTART4EDU

The RESTART4EDU project's main objective was to increase the quality of teaching and learning processes in higher education, by promoting active and collaborative methods, namely project-based learning (PBL), using digital resources.

This project was implemented between March 2021 and May 2023 and was coordinated by the Ovidius University of Constanta. It included, as partner entities, Initiatives Pour Une Formation Efficace ASBL (Belgium), Eskişehir Osmangazi University (Turkey) and Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
