On May 28, the Braga Regional Center of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) will mark the 25th anniversary of its establishment, in an event that celebrates the journey and development of the Campus and its Faculties of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Theology.
The 25th Anniversary Ceremony of the Braga Regional Center, starting at 5.30pm, will include a welcome from the Pro-Rector of UCP-Braga, Paulo Dias, followed by a speech from João Duque, the previous Pro-Rector of UCP-Braga, who will talk about the journey and the people who elevated the campus. The words of the Mayor of Braga, Ricardo Rio, will also be heard.
The academic choir of UCP-Braga will perform at this moment, which will close with speeches by the Rector of UCP, Isabel Capeloa Gil, and theMetropolitan Archbishop of Braga, Dom José Cordeiro.
The Eucharist, which will be presided over by Dom José Cordeiro, will take place at 7pm in the Immaculate Chapel of Our Lady of the Conception.
The end of the celebrations will be marked with a dinner in the Cloister of Espaço Vita, which will bring together the academic community and guests in a moment of fraternization.
