The Mestre Casais Foundation is joining the Academia de Notícias initiative - a support structure for young journalism that includes TSF, Jornal de Notícias and Jogo, promoted by Notícias Ilimitadas, which aims to support young, independent journalism by encouraging the production of reports centred on the major challenges of sustainability.
In this context, the Mestre Casais Foundation is promoting the Mestre Casais Foundation Scholarship for Sustainability, one of four annual scholarships awarded by Academia de Notícias, each worth €2,500. This grant, which is aimed at students studying communications and recent graduates, will fund a journalistic project to be developed and published by the end of the year in one of the Academia de Notícias media organisations.
The Mestre Casais Foundation Scholarship for Sustainability aims to deepen the challenges and opportunities of environmental, climate, social and human sustainability, contributing to a more informed and plural public debate.
