The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Braga Regional Centre of the Portuguese Catholic University welcomes expressions of interest for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor in the field of Communication Sciences, subfield of Strategic Communication.

The contract is for the performance of the following duties:

1. Teaching courses in the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and the Master's Degree in Digital Communication in the subarea of Strategic Communication;
    
2. Research in the field of Communication Sciences, especially in the subarea of Strategic Communication, within the scope of the Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies and in an interdisciplinary context with the areas of philosophy, psychology, linguistics and data science;
    
3. Publication in Communication Sciences journals, preferably indexed in Scopus or Web of Science;
    
4. Organisation of colloquiums and conferences in the field of Communication Sciences;
    
5. Scientific and academic management in the field of Communication Sciences;
    
6. Fundraising for research and/or teaching projects in competitive tenders.
