On November 25th, at 5pm, the 2nd extension of the Virtues Walk: Person, Heritage and Virtue will take place at the Tibães Monastery, under the theme The Art of the Word: a conversation with Mário Cláudio.
In this extension Da Arte da Palavra, it will be possible to return to the imposing Chapter Room to discover this beautiful work of Portuguese literature, “Triunfo do Amor Português”, through the voice of its author, Mário Cláudio. Author of a vast and multifaceted work that encompasses fiction, chronicle, poetry, dramaturgy and essays, Mário Cláudio establishes himself as one of the most important Portuguese authors in the world of letters.
In the second part, you can count on a conversation led by the specialist in Literary Studies, José Cândido de Oliveira Martins, and have the opportunity to hear about twelve Portuguese love stories, to the sound of 19th century music. XVII, by the Ensemble II Filo d’Oro and the voice of the Poetry Union.
Cândido Martins is an Associate Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga and also Director of the Mário Cláudio Center, he is the author of scientific and artistic-cultural productions and is considered one of the most prestigious Portuguese specialists in the field of Literary Studies.
