In order to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Católica Braga has joined the awareness campaign organised by the Women's Alternative and Response Union (UMAR), which has the motto: ‘Mourning and fighting for women victims of Gender Violence’.
The campaign will run from 25 November to 2 December, with various activities on the Braga Campus. On 26 November, UMAR will organise an awareness-raising campaign on the subject, and the exhibition ‘Inquietação’ will be inaugurated in the atrium of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and will be on display until 2 December. To round off the programme, on 29 November the TABU project will hold an intervention aimed at combating inequality through art.
This initiative was organised by the Student Support Office and Voluntaria*te, with the support of UMAR, APAV and various groups from Católica Braga such as NEP, AE FFCS, Líricas, Fratelli Tutti, CAB and Clube de Leitura ‘Liberdade’.
