Fabrizia Raguso has a degree in Clinical Psychology from ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome and in Theology from the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). She trained in Relational Psychology and Family Therapy at M. Andolfi's Academy of Family Therapy in Rome, attending various international seminars in this area with M. Elkaïm, G. Cecchin, C. Saccu, F. Wolsh, among others. She did her PhD in Philosophy - Anthropology and Ethics at the University of Minho. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University, CR Braga, where she teaches Family Psychology, Systemic Models, Psychosexual Development, Family and Parental Counselling, Psychology of Religion, Theories of Personality, Contemporary Religiosities: psychosocial approaches. In 2010 he was a Junior Researcher at the "Alta Scuola di Psicologia A. Gemelli" of the Università Cattolica di Milano, at the invitation of Prof Vittorio Cigoli. Since 2005 he has been an integrated member of the CEFH, where he has carried out research into Multiculturalism and cultural and linguistic identity. He is currently carrying out studies in the area of relational psychology and young adults' life choices. Recent publications have included topics such as family and addictions; the impact of paternal emigration on the life choices of young adults; and the family relationships of young people and adolescents at risk. He has edited and translated the Portuguese version of the videos "Closed Doors. A difficult search for Father‘ and ’Long Time ago" from the DVD collection of the Accademia di Psicoterapia della Famiglia in Rome.
