On 20 September, the Mário Cláudio Centre hosted another session of the cultural cycle ‘Regresso ao Parnaso’ (Return to Parnassus), an initiative conceived and directed by Cândido de Oliveira Martins, professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga. The professor has been promoting this cycle, which aims to give visibility to contemporary writers and artists through dialogue between the arts.

This session paid tribute to the writer Maria do Rosário Pedreira, who was in conversation with fellow writer Jorge Reis-Sá. Both writers have diverse literary careers, with works published in various genres, recognised by the public and critics, and both distinguished by literary awards.

The meeting was further enriched by the performance of fados with lyrics by Maria do Rosário Pedreira.
