The Braga Business Association (AEB) and the Católica Braga Executive Training Academy (AFE) promoted the seminar “Disruptive Thinking, Ethics and Innovation”, an event that brought together entrepreneurs and organizational leaders to reflect on the importance of ethics and innovation in business strategy.
The session featured the participation of Marcos Bazmandegan, PhD in Philosophy from the Portuguese Catholic University and a specialist in ethics and philosophy applied to business, who highlighted the need to transform challenges into opportunities in order to achieve sustainable and differentiated excellence in the market.
The event also had a moment of great significance with the signing of the collaboration protocol between the AEB and the AFE, formalizing a strategic partnership for the development of joint training programmes, with the aim of strengthening business training in the region.
At the opening of the seminar, the president of the Braga Business Association, Daniel Vilaça, stressed the importance of the link between the academic and business worlds, pointing out that “the union between academia and companies is essential to promote innovation, develop strategic skills and prepare professionals for the challenges of today's market”.
“We live in times of rapid change and constant challenges. In this context, the ability to think disruptively and innovatively, while maintaining a firm commitment to ethical principles, is more crucial than ever. This seminar is an opportunity to reflect on how we can integrate these values into our business strategies, turning challenges into opportunities,” he said.
Speaking about the partnership between AEB and AFE, Daniel Vilaça stressed the importance of knowledge and qualifications for the sustainable growth of companies. “Through this partnership, we want to develop innovative and practical training programs, adjusted to the real needs of the business fabric. Only with prepared professionals, with strategic thinking and the ability to adapt, will we be able to guarantee the competitiveness and growth of our companies,” he said.
