Vacancy for senior psychologist

The Portuguese Catholic University - Braga Regional Centre is in the process of recruiting a part-time collaborator in the scientific area of Psychology to work on the U©P2 Mental Health project - Integrated Mental Health Promotion System, integrated into the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Braga.

The competition is open within the scope of the U©P2 Mental Health project, funded by the Mental Health in Higher Education Programme, Directorate-General for Higher Education.

Main activities:

  • Support for the coordination of the U©P2 Mental Health project - Integrated Mental Health Promotion System;
  • Planning, management, implementation and evaluation of the U©P2 Mental Health project; of the integrated mental health promotion system of mental health literacy promotion sessions for students and teaching/non-teaching staff;
  • Planning, development, implementation, management and evaluation of the U©P2 Mental Health project actions for students and teaching staff (mental health literacy actions, psychological first aid and socio-emotional competences);
  • Planning, development and monitoring of the U©P2 Mental Health project platform;
  • Developing protocols and procedures for screening, assessment and clinical intervention, first aid responses and student referrals;
  • Carrying out screening, assessment and clinical intervention, first aid responses and student referrals;
  • Managing and liaising with the technical teams of the U©P2 Mental Health project in the different UCP regional centres;
  • Coordination with UCP projects, services or programmes;
  • Formalising, consolidating and managing agreements/protocols/partnerships with the NHS and public/private health institutions;
  • Managing internal and external communication;
  • Organising and managing internal and external events;
  • Writing scientific and technical texts/reports.

 

Application deadline: 

Candidates must submit their application in accordance with the terms mentioned in the previous point, from 10 January 2025 until 20 January 2025 (until 18:00 Lisbon time).

Candidates who incorrectly formalise their application or who fail to meet the requirements of this competition will be excluded from admission to the competition.

False statements made by candidates will be penalised in accordance with the law.
