To debate the abuses of power and conscience of the most fragile people and to launch clues for early identification of the problem. This is the main purpose of the workshop on abuses of power and conscience, which will take place at the Braga Regional Center of the Portuguese Catholic University.

Under the theme "Overcoming the tip of the iceberg: abuses of power and conscience", the event is promoted by the Commission for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults of the Archdiocese of Braga, in partnership with the Braga Regional Center of the Portuguese Catholic University. The Spanish theologian Ianire Angulo Ordorika, who teaches theology at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Loyola, Granada Campus, Spain, has been invited to promote reflection at the workshop, which will take place in the Aula Magna Padre António Freire of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences UCP/Braga, between 3pm and 6pm. The workshop's main objective is to "address this complex reality, get to know some of the elements that make it up and suggest useful keys for recognizing abusive dynamics in the way we relate to each other", says the Archdiocesan Department for Social Communication (DACS), in a publication that quotes the organizers of the event and which has been published on the official website of the Archdiocese of Braga. According to the DACS, the event is free to attend, although prior registration is "obligatory".
