The Portuguese Catholic University - Braga Regional Center is inviting applications for a Project Management Support Technician to carry out Project Management Support activities at the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH)/ Braga, part of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Braga, under the UCP4SUCCESS project, funded by DGES under Investment RE-C06-i07 |2024 Impulso Mais Digital - sub-measure Innovation and Pedagogical Modernization in Higher Education - Programme to Promote Success and Reduce Early School Leaving in Higher Education, funded by the European Union (NextGenerationEU), Recovery and Resilience Programme (PRR).
The Project Management Support Technician will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
- Monitoring the contractualization of the funding allocated to the projects and their execution in the administrative and financial components, in conjunction with the parties involved, ensuring compliance with the legislation in force and reporting on the implementation of the project to the funding entity;
- Adjusting the analysis to meet the financial viability objectives defined;
- Centralizing and coordinating the process of formalizing the granting of the approved financial contribution;
- Informing coordinators and other relevant stakeholders of the implementation rules associated with funding;
- Creating and maintaining the project dossier, under the terms stipulated by the funding bodies;
- Monitor and control the implementation of the project budget, in order to ensure that expenditure is carried out in accordance with the eligibility rules established;
- Control the funds received or to be received under the project;
- Preparing and submitting interim and final project reports and payment requests;
- Centralizing communication with funding bodies and other stakeholders involved, ensuring that any clarifications requested by them are provided;
- Preparing and monitoring any audits and/or follow-up actions by the funding and managing bodies.
Application deadline
Applicants must submit their application under the terms mentioned in the previous point, between July 8, 2024 and July 17, 2024 (until 5 p.m., mainland Portugal time).
Candidates who complete their application incorrectly or who fail to prove that they meet the requirements of this competition will be excluded from admission to the competition. The selection board has the right to ask any candidate, in case of doubt, to produce supporting documents for their declarations.
Failure to provide the clarifications, information or documents requested within 5 working days means that the application has been withdrawn.
False statements made by candidates will be punished in accordance with the law.
