On 28 March, at 6.30pm, the book launch entitled ‘Communicating Human and Non-Human Otherness. Urban Culture, Technology and Post-Humanism’.
The recent book edited by Helena Pires (CECS - Centre for Communication and Society Studies/ University of Minho), Zara Pinto-Coelho (CECS - Centre for Communication and Society Studies/ University of Minho) and Luísa Magalhães (CEFH - Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies/ Portuguese Catholic University) explores a series of ways of communicating and reinventing alterities. Taking a bold approach, the book includes a series of essays written by a group of international artists and researchers.
At this event, the book and its themes will be presented and discussed by philosophers Paulo Castro (University of Coimbra) and Artur Galvão (Portuguese Catholic University).
