III Congresso Iberoamericano para uma Educação de Qualidade: Mentoria e desenvolvimento de competências

On 6 and 7 November, the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga was represented at the 3rd edition of the Ibero-American Congress for Quality Education by psychologist Lídia Viana de Pinho, from the UCP4SUCCESS project, and by the first team of students responsible for the peer mentoring group, Mentorizate, from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Inês Ferreira, Júlia Cunha and Lara Igreja, who gave an oral presentation and presented a scientific poster

The poster presented the structure, functioning and dynamics of the Mentorizate group, highlighting its role in welcoming, integrating and supporting peers. The oral presentation presented the results of the qualitative evaluation of the implementation carried out in 2024/2025, reflecting on the main lessons learned from this initiative. This presentation also reinforced Católica Braga's commitment to promoting inclusive, accessible and transformative practices, in line with the institutional values and those of the student group.

The congress brought together researchers, teachers, technicians and mentors from various countries, serving as an international forum dedicated to the exchange of experiences on mentoring processes and the development of personal and transversal skills in higher education. Mentorizate's participation contributed to this dialogue and to the strengthening of collaboration networks in the area.
