On 28 March, at 3.30pm, the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva Library will host a presentation of Valério Guerra's poetry book, entitled ‘Não só de Mim’, by Luísa Magalhães, a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga.
This book is a collection of poems characterised by the author's spontaneity and inspiration, without the rigidity of traditional poetry rules. Instead of following conventional metrics and rhymes, Valério Guerra favours the musicality of the verses and recovers the essence of poetry as a form of expression intended to be sung. This work promises to move and involve readers with authentic and profound writing.
On 15 March, the teacher had already presented the book in Portimão, at an event that marked the author's literary debut.
