UCP4SUCCESS is organising the International Conference Tutoring4Success: Building the Future and Student Development on 3 June at the Porto Campus of the Portuguese Catholic University.
This conference will promote debate on models and practices of teaching tutoring, integrating theory and practice. The event will bring together researchers, academics, higher education leaders, educators and students to reflect on the role of mentoring in academic performance and student success, facilitating collaboration between academics and educators to develop innovative strategies.
The initiative will also create a space dedicated to student-centred teaching, promoting the sharing of experiences and serving as a platform to boost student success.
International tutoring models will be presented at the conference, with guest experts Marina Herbaut, from the Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers - Toulouse (France), and Ewa Domagala-Zysk, from the Institute of Pedagogy, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland), and national experts Carla Amaral, from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD); Gonçalo Moura, from the Instituto Superior Técnico; and Tânia Fonseca, from the University of Aveiro (UA).
