On February 20, at 9:30 p.m. in the Aula Magna of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga, the "Ponto de Cruz" meeting will take place - a talk organized by the Braga Academic Centre (CAB) to help people vote with conscience in the legislative elections.
This will be one of four national talks, during the month of February, promoted by Ponto SJ, the Jesuit Portal in Portugal, which aim to put current political issues into dialogue with the principles of the Church's Social Doctrine.
Under the motto "For a country to grow", the country's economic situation will be discussed in the light of the principle of the Common Good.
Speakers will include Paula Veiga Benesch, professor of economics at the University of Minho; Francisco Maia, SME manager and member of Francisco's Economy; and Father Nélson Faria, SJ of the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network.
