An open class entitled ‘Trauma: Cause or Consequence of Violence?’ will be held on 6 June at 2.30pm in room D7 of the Camões Building of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga, as part of the course Trauma, Violence and Health, which is part of the Master's in Clinical and Health Psychology.

Degree in Psychology from the University Institute of Maia. Master's Degree in Forensic Clinical Psychology - Intervention with Offenders and Victims, from the University Institute of Maia. PhD in Psychology - Specialising in Clinical Psychology, from the University of Maia. Author of the PhD thesis entitled ‘Maladaptive Beliefs and Violent Behaviour of Portuguese Young Adults’. Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Clinician. Full member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (OPP), and holder of professional licence no. 26736. Holder of Euro Psy Certificate PT-068729-202307, issued by the European Federation of Psychologist Associations (EFPA). Expert in forensic psychological assessments. Experienced researcher in the field of deviant, criminal or violent behaviour. Author and co-author of several articles, in the process of revision or already published, in international journals. Experienced in research methodologies, APA standards or statistical analysis. Extensive experience in supporting the preparation of dissertations, internship reports and other academic work. Certified trainer. Author of the ‘Questionnaire of Beliefs in the Interpersonal Relationships of Portuguese Young Adults. Peer reviewer for important national and international scientific journals. Qualified to work as a psychologist (e.g. psychological assessments, counselling, psychotherapy) in any EFPA member country.
