On 28, 29 and 30 April, at 2.30pm, the Business Communication Conferences, organised by the 3rd year of the degree in Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS), will be held at the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga.
Over the three days, in order to understand the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on organisational dynamics, topics such as ‘AI - Innovation and change in organisations’; ‘AI - Business narratives’; and ‘AI - Business culture for sustainable tourism’ will be covered. The programme includes presentations by students, speeches by internal and external guests and moments of conviviality and networking.
This initiative brings together students from the degrees in Communication Sciences and Tourism, as well as the Masters in Digital Communication and Psychology of Work and Organisations at UCP - Braga, with the aim of promoting an interdisciplinary approach to reflection on AI and its impact on business culture. In this sense, they represent an active teaching-learning practice, where students play a central role in creating and sharing knowledge. Luísa Magalhães, coordinator of the event in collaboration with lecturers Anabela Rodrigues, Carla Cardoso and José Miguel Vilaça, emphasises that this initiative strengthens the link between theory and practice and prepares students for the challenges of a market undergoing rapid digital transformation.
This meeting is open to the public and admission is free.
