On 5 May, at 3pm, a session to commemorate World Portuguese Language Day will be held at the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga.
Speakers will include Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida, award-winning writer, activist and academic, who will address the topic ‘My language’; and Augusto Soares da Silva, Professor of Linguistics at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of UCP - Braga, who will reflect on the question ‘Portuguese is two, three, how many?’.
