Theory and Practice of Social Work I introductively presents the different meanings of theory in Social Work. It presents briefly and analyzes some exemplary and significant proposals of theories of Social Work as a discipline and profession. It presents and analyzes the main paradigmatic fields in Social Work and some of the most significant theories for intervention in Social Work.
