Bio

Ana Filipa dos Santos Sobral is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Portuguese Catholic University (FEP-UCP) in Porto. She also coordinates the Master's programme in Psychology and Human Resources Development at the same institution. She completed her European Doctorate in Psychology, Psychology of Human Resources, Work and Organisations in December 2015 at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Lisbon (FP-UL). She has a Master's degree in Human Resources Development Policies and a degree in Sociology from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa, Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL).

She is an integrated researcher and sits on the board of the FEP-UCP Human Development Research Centre and is a collaborating researcher at the FP-UL Psychological Science Research Centre.  
 
Areas of scientific interest:

  • Psychology of human resources, work and organisations;
  • Human motivations, well-being, training and employability;
  • Human resource management in contingent work formats;
  • New work formats emerging from the current technological paradigm;
  • Generational differences in values and attitudes towards work.
