Bio

Daniel Farinha is a senior lecturer with 7 years of experience in undergraduate teaching, after more than 20 years of experience working as a software architect, network and systems administrator and team leader in a variety of business environments, from startups to large multinationals, in a variety of sectors, including digital marketing, biotechnology, telecommunications and education.

He has worked at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) since 2009, where he has held various positions, including Head of the Office of Information Systems, and is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Media, Art and Technology in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. He has a BA (with honours) in Computer Studies from London South Bank University, a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Information Technology from USJ and is currently studying for a PhD in Information Systems, also at USJ.
