She has a PhD in Health Sciences - Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, a master's degree in Motivational Psychology from the University of Coimbra and a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Minho.
Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (CP 3014).
Member of the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH), author of dozens of national and international publications and associate editor and reviewer for Frontiers in
Psychology (Quartile 1).
Current research interests: etiology and psychosocial consequences of behavioral addictions (phubbing, nomophobia, etc.).
