UCP4SUCCESS UCP4SUCCESS is hosting the online forum “Perspectives on Dropout and (In)success: How to Intervene?” on September 28, 2026. Organized by the Portuguese Catholic University, the event aims to provide a space for reflection and debate focused on the challenges of dropout and success in higher education, as well as on intervention strategies supported by data and predictive models.
The forum will foster discussion on the potential of data analysis tools for the early identification of at-risk students, exploring how these tools can contribute to the development of more effective and personalized interventions.
The initiative will also address key issues related to the ethical and transparent use of these models, as well as their compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and their practical application in higher education institutions.
The session will feature the UCP4SUCCESS team and other guests, and is intended for the academic community and anyone interested in the fields of education, innovation, and promoting success in higher education.
Participation is free, subject to prior registration. More information about the program and the speakers will be announced in due course.
