Dr Adérito Fernandes-Marcos, full professor at the University of São José and coordinator of the University of São José's participation in Macau, said enthusiastically: "This course represents an extremely important international collaboration. The Portuguese Catholic University is leading the project, awarding the degree and offering excellent training, while the University of São José plays a key role in sharing the management and teaching of subjects, as well as promoting the course both in the territory and in the Southeast Asian region."

He also pointed out: "Macau has the potential to establish itself as a global centre for the dissemination of knowledge, including participation in distance learning models that combine exceptional quality and alignment with the highest international standards. We are certain that this project will make a significant contribution to positioning Macau as a leading educational centre."

According to Dr José Miguel Vilaça, professor at the Portuguese Catholic University and coordinator of the course, "applications are now open and can be made by anyone, regardless of their location, as long as they meet some basic criteria. To enrol, you need to be proficient in English, have minimum qualifications equivalent to secondary schooling and be willing to take specific entrance exams, which take place entirely online."

Professor Miguel Vilaça added that ‘prospective students only need a computer with broadband Internet access, good knowledge of English and, above all, a strong motivation to interact and learn in a virtual environment.’
