Isabel Capeloa Gil, the head of the Catholic University and advisor to the Pope

Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the Portuguese Catholic University since 2016 and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities since 2018, has made it onto this year's list of the Most Powerful Women in Business. With a total of 66 points, the manager stood out due to her curriculum and reached second place in the Education and Science category of the 2024 ranking drawn up by Forbes Portugal.

Born in 1965, the professor was the first woman to hold the position of president of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, a position she is expected to hold until 2025. With more than 150 scientific articles and published works, her work is considered a valuable addition to the study of culture in Portugal.
