Católica Braga launches Christmas Solidarity Campaign

Monday, November 17, 2025 - 18:49

Between 17 November and 6 January, the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) – Braga is promoting the 2025 Christmas Solidarity Campaign, under the slogan “Hope that is shared, a future that is built”, aimed at supporting the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV) and the IPSS Vida Norte.

The entire academic community, as well as the general public, is invited to contribute donations to two institutions. APAV accepts only toys, which will be given to children supported by the association, which promotes information, protection and support for citizens who are victims of crime and/or violence. At the same time, Vida Norte is requesting baby care products, namely shower gel, body cream and nappy cream, saline solution, non-woven fabric compresses, T4 and T5 nappies and ‘sensitive’ wipes. These donations will be delivered to the supported institutions, reinforcing the joint commitment to promoting a safer, more autonomous and happier future for babies, families and communities.

Donations can be delivered to the reception desks of the Camões Campus and the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences.
