The Archbishop of Braga, José Cordeiro, has appointed Fr.  Carlos Miranda, SJ, as Spiritual Assistant (Chaplain) of the Braga Campus of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP).

The decision was made after consulting with the Vice-Chancellor of UCP - Braga, Paulo Dias, and the Provincial Superior of the Jesuits, Fr. Miguel Almeida, SJ, in an effort to respond to the current pastoral needs of the academic community.
