On 10 October, at 2.30 p.m., there will be a presentation of the Portuguese Red Cross's ‘Guide to Mental Health Etiquette’ and a discussion entitled ‘Mental Health without Silence: A Dialogue by Everyone for Everyone’ in the Isidro Alves Auditorium at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) in Braga.
The opening session will mark the official start of the event, with keynote speeches by institutional representatives involved in organising the event, including Paulo Dias, Vice-Chancellor of UCP - Braga, Carla Sepúlveda, Councillor for Education, Innovation and Social Cohesion at Braga City Council, Júlio Faceira Guedes, President of the Portuguese Red Cross Delegation in Braga, and Paula Gomes, Managing Director of the Hospitaller Sisters in Braga. The event will be presented by Ana Luísa Costa, Clinical Psychologist at the Hospitaller Sisters in Braga.
This will be a moment of sharing, reflection and open dialogue, where mental health professionals and the community come together to give voice to what is often silenced.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
