The Coordination Committee for the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at the Portuguese Catholic University—Braga Campus will host an online information session on July 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., dedicated to presenting the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.

The event is aimed at 12th-grade students, applicants over the age of 23, and parents or guardians who wish to learn more about the program, the career opportunities in this field, and the support available to students.

During the session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the program, learn about the profile and duties of a social worker, explore career paths in the field, and hear from a current student in the program.

The session's agenda is as follows:

• 6:00 p.m. | Reception and welcome
• 6:05 p.m. | What does a social worker do? What are the career opportunities?
• 6:20 p.m. | Learn about the new Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
• 6:35 p.m. | Available scholarships and financial aid
• 6:45 p.m. | Hear about a Social Work student’s experience
