Social worker since 1983. PhD in Social Work from the Portuguese Catholic University (2010). She has been teaching at the Faculty of Human Sciences (FCH) since 2003, currently in the Social Work Degree (Social Work III - Basic Structure of Social Intervention; Internship and Seminar I and II; Territorial and Community Intervention). She supervises Master's programmes in the areas of: Social Intervention and Health Care; Elderly People and Active Ageing; Special Education and Social Insertion of Children and Young People; Intervention with Families and Integrated Social Care; Local Development, Community Intervention and Networks. In the area of university extension, she also carries out Pedagogical Supervision, with multidisciplinary teams of professionals, in Local Authorities, Local Social Networks and Local Associative Movements.
