On September 2, the Catholic University of Braga will host the graduation ceremony for the Executive Academy’s Executive Management Program at the Isidro Alves Auditorium, marking the completion of a training phase.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a social gathering, followed by the opening session, which will feature remarks by Bruno Nobre, Director of FFCS, and Carina Meireles, from the Course Coordination team.
The program includes, at 7:00 p.m., a roundtable discussion on the topic “Humanity in the Age of AI: Technology, Work, and Purpose,” which invites reflection on the impact of artificial intelligence on the world of work and the challenges that technological transformation poses for organizations and individuals.
The discussion will feature Sérgio Agrelos, Administrator and COO of F3M Information Systems S.A., and Nuno Veloso Santos, CEO and General Manager of IBD Global Portugal, part of the Bernardo da Costa Group, to provide insights into the business world and the challenges of technological innovation.
At 7:30 p.m., one of the highlights of the ceremony will take place: the presentation of diplomas, which symbolizes the completion of the educational program and recognizes the participants’ commitment to their academic and professional development.
The ceremony will continue with a testimonial from a graduate at 7:45 p.m., during a segment dedicated to sharing experiences gained throughout the program. The closing is scheduled for 7:50 p.m., with remarks by Paulo Dias, Vice Rector of the Braga Campus of the Catholic University, and Ana Salazar, Coordinator of the Executive Academy.
Through this initiative, Católica Braga reinforces its commitment to lifelong learning and to fostering closer ties between academia and the business community, with the aim of creating spaces for learning, reflection, and debate on the challenges shaping the present and future of organizations.
The ceremony brings together graduates, faculty members, academic leaders, and representatives from the business sector for a moment of celebration and recognition, but also of reflection on the role of education in preparing professionals for a context of rapid transformation.
