A meeting was recently held in Vieira do Minho between the Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University of Braga, Paulo César Dias, and the Mayor of Vieira do Minho, Filipe de Oliveira, with the aim of establishing and strengthening institutional relations.

The main purpose of the meeting was to explore areas for future collaboration, promoting the development of joint initiatives in the academic, scientific, cultural and community fields. During the meeting, partnership opportunities were discussed that aim to benefit both the university's academic community and the citizens of Vieira, strengthening the link between higher education and local development.

Mayor Filipe de Oliveira emphasised the importance of the partnership with the Catholic University of Braga, reinforcing the municipality's willingness to collaborate on joint actions that promote sustainable development, education and culture in the region.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and mutual commitment, reaffirming the intention to consolidate this strategic collaboration for the benefit of the local community and the region's academic ecosystem.
